Updated work practices for Ophthalmic Pathology
To: All users of the London National Specialist Ophthalmic Pathology Service
In view of the constant changes during this time, our department is regularly reviewing the contingency plan to ensure that the work provided is maintained at a high standard and delivered in the least disrupted manner as possible.
The department is opened between the hours of 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. We should also inform you that our postal service has now returned to normal and specimens can be sent directly to us on the address below:

Although we will try and keep delays to a minimum the turn-around times might be significantly longer than normal. I am sorry if this will cause some inconvenience but the intention is to keep things running.

Research tissue bank
The tissue bank has close links with the Department of Eye Pathology. If you require access to ethically approved tissue for eye-related research, please contact Dr Richard Elliott by emailing email@example.com
